UFC President Dana White has announced, via Twitter, that heavyweights Travis Browne and Gabriel Gonzaga have agreed to fight at the promotion’s TUF 17 Finale on April 13th. The card will be hosted by The Joint at Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, and will be broadcast on FUEL TV.

Browne (13-1) hasn’t competed October when he was stopped by Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva, in a fight that saw the former tear his hamstring. Prior to the defeat Browne had gone undefeated in five UFC appearances, which included wins over Stefan Struve, Chad Griggs, Rob Broughton and James McSweeney.

Gonzaga (14-6), meanwhile, has won three straight fights since he was decisioned by Brendan Schaub at UFC 121 in October, 2010. Most recently the decorated grappler tapped out Ben Rothwell with a second round, guillotine choke at a UFC on FX card last month.

The TUF 17 Finale will also feature the tournament championship from the current season of “The Ultimate Fighter”, which features middleweight competitors.
