Travis Marx Final Bantamweight to be Confirmed for Bellator Season Six

Bellator Fighting Championships has finalized the line-up for the promotion’s season sixth, bantamweight tourney, as it has announced today that Travis Marx is the eighth and final entrant for the upcoming competition.
Marx (18-3) will arrive in Bellator riding a three fight win streak, which includes a first round, stoppage win over Mikey Lovato in September. The veteran fighter, who began competing professionally in 2003, is 8-2 in his last 10 fights.
The bantamweight currently trains out of the renowned Team Jackson-Winkeljohn gym in New Mexico and is an experienced collegiate wrestler. Marx stated on his official website today:
“It’s official! I will be participating in Bellator Fighting Championship’s Season 6, Bantamweight Tournament, in 2012. I am super excited to have this opportunity and plan to make the most of it. Thanks again to all of you who have supported me and believed in me.”
Marx joins a bantamweight field that includes Alexis Villa (11-1), Ed West (17-6), Hiroshi Nakamura (14-5-4), Masakatsu Ueda (14-1-2), Marcos Galvao (10-5-1), Luis Nogueira (12-2), and Rodrigo Lima (9-0).
Bellator’s sixth season of action, which gets underway March 2nd, will be broadcast live on MTV 2.
