TUF 18 Winner Julianna Pena Booked For Return Bout
By FCF Staff
After suffering an extremely serious, knee injury early last year, Julianna Pena has been booked to fight Milana Dudieva at UFC Fight Night 63 on April 4th.
The upcoming bout will mark the first time Pena has fought since November, 2013, when she won TUF 18 by stopping Jessica Rakoczy in the first round.
A couple of months later, however, Pena(5-2) tore the MCL, LCL, ACL and meniscus in her right knee, and has been sidelined since. The American is 3-2 in her last five, official bouts.
Dudieva (11-3), meanwhile, is coming off a successful UFC debut in August, as the Russian fighter worked her way to a split decision win over Elizabeth Philips. Dudieva has also gone 3-2 in her last 5 contests.
UFC FN 63 will be hosted by the Patriot Center in Fairfax, Virginia, and will feature a featherweight bout between Chad Mendes and Ricardo Lamas in the headliner.
