TUF 19 Finale: Frankie Edgar Stops BJ Penn, Former Champ Announces Retirement

Here are the results from tonight’s TUF 19 Finale card in Las Vegas, Nevada, which saw Frankie Edgar score his third win over BJ Penn.

The former lightweight champ, turned featherweight, went on to stop Penn in the third round, who proceeded to announce his retirement following the loss.

The 35 year-old Penn hangs up the gloves having gone 16-10-2 in a career, which included winning both the UFC lightweight and welterweight championship.

Eddie Gordon won the TUF 19 middleweight tourney by stopping Dhiego Lima in the opening round, and in the light-heavyweight final, Corey Anderson TKO’d Matt Van Buren.
