Tyron Woodley Calls For Rematch Following Loss to Logan Paul
By FCF Staff
After losing to Logan Paul in a boxing match on Sunday, Tyron Woodley didn’t waste any time before calling for a rematch.
Woodley faced the YouTube celebrity in a pay-per-view headliner for Showtime Sports. Following the fight, which saw two of the three judges score it for Paul (77-75, 75-77, 78-74), Woodley relayed the following (quotes via MMA Junkie).
“It’s done, we’re doing the rematch,” Woodley said. “I have to get that win. It was too close. This is a movie, ain’t nobody going to push the needle like me and him did. We sold the sh*t out of this pay-per-view. I think everyone was excited about it. … He was tough. He was fatigued in the fight and he found a way to keep pushing through. I can never knock him for that, but we have to run it back.”

The fight marked the first time the 39-year-old Woodley had competed since he was submitted by Vicente Luque in May, and was his first in pro boxing.
The 24-year-old Paul, meanwhile, now carries a pro boxing record of 4-0.
