Conor McGregor is a clear cut underdog for his upcoming bout with undefeated boxer, Floyd Mayweather, but it sounds like Tyron Woodley plans to bet some money on the UFC champ.

On Wednesday, it was announced that Mayweather and McGregor will box on August 26th, at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Woodley appeared on the latest “UFC Tonight”, and while discussing the highly anticipated bout, the welterweight champ said this (quotes via FOX Sports 1 press release):

“Conor and I have had our differences, but at that money, I’ll put money down on his. This kid does not care. He has an unconventional style.”

“Floyd changes his styles in fights and adapts quickly. He has four or five styles. He might come out aggressive. Conor has never seen a boxer with the ability to make the adjustments. Guys who are aggressive toward Floyd, he makes them miss and miss badly.”

Woodley, meanwhile, is expected to fight Demian Maia next, but a date and venue for the bout has yet to be announced.
