Tyson Fury – Francis Ngannou Boxing Match Announced
By FCF Staff
It looks like Francis Ngannou has gotten his wish, as a boxing match between the former UFC champ and WBO heavyweight champ, Tyson Fury, has been announced.
Ngannou has repeatedly said that he intended to box at some juncture, and his recent MMA deal with the PFL does not restrict him from boxing.
Now, ESPN is reporting that Ngannou will box Fury on October 28th in Saudi Arabia. It’s not clear at this time if the fight will be an exhibition or how many rounds the bout will be.
Ngannou has also shared out the video promo below.

Fury (33-0-1) is coming off a tenth-round, stoppage win over Derek Chisora in December. Negotiations for a bout between Fury and Oleksandr Usyk for the undisputed heavyweight titles have failed to date, opening the door for a bout with Ngannou.
Ngannou, meanwhile, has never competed in a pro-boxing match. The feared striker hasn’t fought since January, 2022, when he recorded a decision win over Ciyrl Gane at UFC 270.
