This Friday, January 31st, the Jardines Hotel in Panama City, Panama holds all the action as United Fight Alliance brings you Ultimate Combat Challenge #48. UCC 48 will feature ten world-class MMA fights including two women’s matches and two four-man tournaments. The Main Event features a very highly anticipated matchup between Latin America’s 6th ranked Mauricio Otalora and Vernon Ramos (TUF LA alum). The co-main event will see Oliver Meza (TUF LA alum) face Walter “Showtime” Luna. Also in what could be fight of the night, American Top Team prospect Kayla Hracho battles explosive Piera “La Fiera” Rodriguez.

Commentating this global competition will be Emmy Award Winning TV Host Jordan “Jay” Adams alongside long-time UFC Veteran and star of Looking for a Fight Din ‘Yero’ Thomas and famous Panamanian, Venezuelan and Italian broadcaster, Norberto Testa. Viewers will be able to watch on UFA’s networks in March on select NBC Sports Regional Networks, Cox Sports Television and Stadium TV among other channels. UFA CEO Jordan “Jay” Adams expressed, “I’m really looking forward to calling a UCC PANAMA event. They really let hands fly in Central America and the refs keep the action going. Like the CWC show we just did in Germany, that featured fighters from all over Europe, UCC is truly an international event pulling fighters in from all over the Americas. Just a few of the countries on the card include Panama, Venezuela, Ecuador, Colombia, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Honduras and the United States.”

“It’s a dream come true” said UCC CEO Ramfis Issacs. “For over 20 years we’ve been working really hard trying to achieve our goals. One is to broadcast our events on US television which we will now do through United Fight Alliance. This will be huge to position UCC on the top and gain international exposure.”
