The February 22nd, UFC 170 card in Las Vegas has received a compelling bantamweight fight, as Raphael Assuncao and Francisco Rivera have agreed to battle at the upcoming event.

Assuncao (21-4) is currently the promotion’s #4 ranked 135’er, thanks to a five fight win streak and a recent split decision win over TJ Dillashaw. The last man to beat Assuncao is Erik Koch, who knocked him out in March, 2011.

Rivera (10-2) is also on an impressive run, as the vet is undefeated in six straight bouts, and is coming off stoppage wins over George Roop and Edwin Figueroa.

UFC 170 will be hosted by the Mandalay Bay Events Center and will feature former light-heavyweight champ Rashad Evans taking on Daniel Cormier.
