After scoring a highlight reel knockout in his Octagon debut at UFC Fight Night 33, Alex Garcia has been tapped to fight Sean Spencer, March 15th in Dallas. The UFC 171 scrap will be hosted by the city’s American Airlines Center.

The new match-up was reported first by the Dallas News and the UFC has re-tweeted the report.

Garcia (11-1) needed just 43 seconds to take out Ben Wall with strikes on December 7th, which extended the Tristar fighter’s win streak to five. The only man who has beaten the 26 year-old Garcia is UFC vet Seth Baczynski, which took place at a Ringside MMA event in 2011.

Spencer (11-2) is coming off consecutive, decision wins over Yuri Villefort and Drew Dober, after being submitted by Rafael Natal in his UFC debut in January. The Dallas fighter is 4-1 in his last 5 contests.

UFC 171 will be headlined by a light-heavyweight bout between champion Jon Jones and Glover Teixeira. The card will also feature Hector Lombard taking on welterweight Jake Shields.
