Not only will the UFC’s May 24th card in Las Vegas feature middleweight champion Chris Weidman taking on Vitor Belfort, but the promotion has confirmed Chael Sonnen will battle Wanderlei Silva at the event.

The venue for the Memorial Day weekend card has yet to be finalized.

Belfort (24-10) will be competing in the U.S. for the first time since 2011, and it remains to be seen if the star will receive an exemption for his testosterone replacement therapy in Nevada. Belfort is coming off stoppage wins over Michael Bisping, Luke Rockhold and Dan Henderson.

Weidman (11-0) will be looking to build on back-to-back wins over former champ Anderson Silva.

Silva (35-12-1) and Sonnen (28-14-1) will be looking to settle their long standing rivalry, which apparently boiled over on the set of TUF Brazil recently. The two are coaching opposite one another on the latest season of the reality show.

Sonnen was stopped by Rashad Evans in his last outing at UFC 167, while Silva hasn’t fought since March, 2013, when he knocked out Brian Stann.
