Doo Ho Choi

The UFC has added another South Korean prospect to its roster, as it’s announced that Doo Ho Choi will battle featherweight Sam Sicilia, May 24th. The bout will be part of UFC 173, which will be hosted by the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

Choi (11-1) arrives in the UFC having won 9 straight bouts. The 22 year-old fighter has competed for organizations like DEEP and Sengoku to date.

Sicilia (12-4) will be looking to rebound from a submission loss he suffered versus Cole Miller in January, after knocking out Godofredo Castro in November. The 28 year-old slugger is 2-3 in his last 5 bouts.

UFC 173 will be headlined by a middleweight bout between champion Chris Weidman and Vitor Belfort.
