The Ultimate Fighting Championship’s June 14th return to Vancouver has picked up a notable welterweight fight, as Rory MacDonald will battle fellow contender Tyron Woodley.

UFC 174, which will be hosted by the city’s Rogers Arena, has yet to receive a main event.

MacDonald (16-2) will be looking to build on a the unanimous decision win he scored over Demian Maia in February, after he was decisioned by Robbie Lawler last November. The British Columbia born fighter is currently ranked #2 in the UFC’s welterweight division.

Woodley (13-2) is coming off a stoppage win over Carlos Condit last month, after the latter injured his knee in the second round. Prior to that Woodley KO’d Josh Koscheck at UFC 167. The decorated wrestler is ranked #4.
