UFC 176 has received a notable addition, as Bobby Green will face fellow rising lightweight Abel Trujillo at the August 2nd event.

The card will be hosted by the Staples Center in Los Angeles, and will feature featherweight champ Jose Aldo taking on Chad Mendes.

News of the Green-Trujillo bout was reported by ESPN.com, and the promotion has retweeted the match-up.

Green (22-5) heads into UFC 176 having won seven straight fights, which includes victories over Jacob Volkmann, James Krause and Pat Healy in the Octagon.

Trujillo (12-5), meanwhile, is coming off back-to-back stoppage wins over Roger Bowling and Jamie Varner. The only man to defeat Trujillo in five UFC appearances is lightweight contender Khabib Nurmagomedov.
