UFC 179 has picked up an interesting flyweight bout, as Scott Jorgensen will take on fellow vet Wilson Reis. The upcoming event will be hosted by the Maracanazinho Gymnasium in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on October 25th.

The promotion announced the bout via its Brazilian website.

Jorgensen (15-9) will be looking to build on the decision win he scored over Danny Martinez in June, which ended the former bantamweight’s three fight losing streak.

Reis (18-5) is also coming off a decision win, as he outscored Joby Sanchez at a UFC Fight Night card last month. The flyweight is 4-1 in his last 5 bouts.

UFC 179 will feature a rematch between featherweight champ Jose Aldo and Chad Mendes in the main event. Glover Teixeira will also battle fellow light-heavyweight contender Phil Davis at the event.
