The line-up for UFC 184 is nearing completion, as the promotion has announced that surging lightweight Tony Ferguson will battle Yancy Medeiros at the February 28th event.

The match-up is the 12th fight to be booked for the card, which will be hosted by the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

Ferguson (17-3) is coming off a second round, submission win over Abel Trujillo at UFC 181, and has won four straight.

Medeiros (11-2) scored a first round, tap out victory over Joe Proctor at the TUF 20 Finale last month, after submitting Damon Jackson in August. The lightweight is 2-2, with 1 no contest, in his last 5 scraps.

UFC 184 will feature middleweight champion Chris Weidman taking on Vitor Belfort, as well as bantamweight champ Ronda Rousey versus Cat Zingano.
