Following Daniel Cormier’s championship win at UFC 187, he relayed to rival Jon Jones that he’ll be waiting, but that’s not the only feud “DC” currently has going.

Cormier fought through the vicious striking game of Anthony Johnson on Saturday, and after putting his renowned wrestling game in motion, submitted the latter with a third round, rear-naked-choke. Cormier was tapped to fight Johnson at the event, after Jones was arrested last month, and stripped of the light-heavyweight title.

Leading up to the bout, Ryan Bader began campaigning for a title shot, and while doing so, pointed out that Cormier was coming off a decision loss to Jones. Bader and Cormier had originally been scheduled to fight on June 6th.

In pre-fight interviews, Cormier let it be known that he didn’t care for some of Bader’s comments, and at the post-fight presser, he relayed the following.

“There’s someone else who needs his ass kicked too. I think he’s around here. It’s Ryan Bader’s ass and I’m going to beat the s–t out of him next time. You keep talking Bader. Keeping talking Bader. Keep talking. Keep talking.”

Bader was in attendance at the press conference, and could be heard yelling back at Cormier. Then, the powerful light-heavyweight walked up to the front to confront Cormier, and the two had to be separated.

“This guy’s so disrespectful; I’m trying to fight Anthony Johnson and Ryan Bader’s writing me stupid messages on Twitter because he wants people to think that he deserves a title shot, come on Ryan. You can come and fight me. You’re just going to get your ass kicked like you were going to in June.”

“I asked them to fight you because I just wanted an easy pay check.”

Bader is coming off a split decision win over Phil Davis in January, and has won four straight bouts. The Arizona fighter is currently ranked #5.
