“Rampage” Jackson has been calling for another crack at “Shogun” Rua in recent weeks, and following the latter’s win at UFC 190, he says he’d be happy to face his fellow PRIDE vet one more time.

Rua worked his way to a unanimous decision win over Antonio Rogerio Nogueira on Saturday night, which marked the second time he’s decisioned the accomplished fighter. The Brazilian stars met in 2005 while fighting for PRIDE, and the bout was an instant classic. Rua-Nogueira II earned “Fight of the Night” honors.

Jackson has claimed he was injured when he battled Rua for the first time in 2005, which saw the “Shogun” finish the fight with soccer kicks. During Rua’s post-fight, backstage interview on Saturday, here is what he had to say about Jackson’s challenge:

“Recently, some while ago, “Rampage” challenged me on my Instagram account,” Rua said through his translator and associate, Eduardo Alonso. “So I’d like to tell him that if the UFC wants it, I’ll fight him any time, wherever, whenever. It doesn’t matter.”

With Saturday’s win, the 33 year-old Rua moved his record to 23-10. The former light-heavyweight champ is 2-3 in his last five bouts.
