Demetrious Johnson may not have finished his rival John Dodson tonight at UFC 191, but the flyweight champ worked his way to a clear cut victory over the contender.

Early on, Dodson was largely able to match the volume of Johnson, and repeatedly stuffed the champ’s takedowns. But, as the fight wore on and Dodson tired, Johnson started winning the majority of the exchanges and began scoring takedowns as well.

After the final horn, there no was doubt as to who won the bout, and Johnson was awarded the unanimous decision win.

Johnson also earned a UD win over Dodson in 2013.
