UFC 193 Receives Ronda Rousey-Holly Holm After Robbie Lawler Withdraws
By FCF Staff
A scheduled bout between Ronda Rousey and Holly Holm has been pushed up several weeks, as the UFC has announced the two will fight November 14th, and not January 2nd.
The promotion has made the move after welterweight champion Robbie Lawler was forced to withdraw from UFC 193 due to a thumb injury. Lawler was scheduled to fight Carlos Condit. No news regarding a replacement opponent for the latter was announced.
The bantamweight champ Rousey (12-0) is coming off a quick stoppage win over Bethe Correia earlier this month, and Holm (9-0) decisioned Marion Reneau in July.
UFC 193 will be hosted by the Etihad Stadium in Melbourne, Australia.
