UFC 193: Uriah Hall Stepping in For Michael Bisping
By FCF Staff
Uriah Hall won’t have to wait long to build on his thrilling win last weekend, as the middleweight’s been booked to fight Robert Whittaker at UFC 193 on November 15th.
Hall will be replacing the injured Michael Bisping at the upcoming card, which will take place in Melbourne, Australia. News of the booking was reported first by News.com.au, and the UFC has since re-tweeted the post.
After losing the opening round to Gegard Mousasi at UFC FN 75 last Saturday, Hall (12-5) took out the middleweight contender with a spinning head kick and flying knee. The victory was Hall’s second straight and moved him into the #10 ranking.
Whittaker (14-4) is coming off a knockout win over Brad Tavares in May and the Australian has won three in a row. Whittaker is ranked #14.
UFC 193 will be hosted by the Etihad Stadium and will feature bantamweight champ Ronda Rousey taking on Holly Holm in the headliner.
