Ovince Saint Preux has scored several memorable finishes in the Octagon to date, but the light-heavyweight contender says fans haven’t seen him at his best.

Saint Preux has been tagged to face Jon Jones at UFC 197 on Saturday, after champion Daniel Cormier was forced to withdraw due to a leg injury. Recently OSP spoke to UFC.com, and while discussing the fact he’s going to face Jones on short notice, he stated:

“I’ll be well prepared,” Saint Preux said. “I’ve been training pretty much since the day I took the fight; I haven’t taken a break yet. If I’m not in the gym training, I’m doing some kind of treatment – doing hyperbaric chamber, getting (in to see) the chiropractor – making sure my body is up to par, so I definitely feel good and I’m definitely going to be 100 percent walking into the cage.

“I’m just going to give everything I’ve got and leave everything in the cage. At times, I’ve felt like I was holding back in different situations, but this time I can’t.”

Saint Preux is coming off a decision win over Rafael Cavalcante in February. Jones, meanwhile, hasn’t fought since January, 2015, when he decisioned Cormier.

UFC 197 will be hosted by the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
