Luke Rockhold finished Michael Bisping in under six minutes the first time they battled, and the middleweight champ is promising he’ll do better than that, whey fight again at UFC 199.

Bisping has been signed to fight Rockhold next Saturday on June 4th, after Chris Weidman had to bow out due to a neck injury. The British star was floored by a Rockhold headkick, and then submitted with a guillotine, when they fought before in 2014.

Recently the UFC held a media call to promote UFC 199, and during it, Rockhold said the following (quote via MMA Junkie.com):

“It’s going to be hard to top, but I guarantee I’m going to top the last performance,” Rockhold said. “It’s going to be that much more precise, that much more devastating. I feel great about this fight. I felt the same about (original opponent) Chris Weidman and it doesn’t matter who I’m going to be in there with, I just know my level has changed from any of these guys and no one’s catching me anytime soon.”

“…I know what Bisping does through and through. I haven’t seen too much change. I don’t think he’s declined, but I haven’t seen much get better, and he’s about to find out that I’ve taken my game to another dimension.”

Rockhold stopped Weidman in round four this past December to become middleweight champion. Bisping, meanwhile, decisioned former champ Anderson Silva in February.
