UFC 199: Michael Bisping Says “There’s Nothing About Luke Rockhold That Scares Me”

Although Luke Rockhold has finished five straight fighters, and has submitted Michael Bisping during that run, the latter says he’s not intimidated by the UFC’s middleweight champ.

Bisping has been signed to fight Rockhold on short notice at UFC 199, after Chris Weidman withdrew from the June 4th card due to a neck injury. The British contender appeared on the latest “UFC Tonight“, and while discussing his upcoming rematch with Rockhold, Bisping stated this (quote via FOX Sports press release):

“Weidman pulled out again, Jacare had no balls. They needed a real fighter’s fighter to step in, so look no further than yours truly. I know Luke and I lost the last fight, but I’ve been in there before. I know what he’s capable of. There’s nothing about Luke that scares me. Yes, I’m taking it on short notice, but I hit as hard in the first week of camp as I do in the last week. I’m coming for Luke. All the pressure is on him. Be careful Luke, I’m coming.”

Bisping and Rockhold fought for the first time in November, 2014, and the latter won the fight via second round, submission.
