Jon Jones was scheduled to fight Anthony Johnson last year, and the interim, light-heavyweight champ clearly won’t be satisfied until he faces the feared slugger.

Johnson was booked to face the then, reigning champ last May, but following Jones’ arrest, the fight was cancelled. Johnson faced Daniel Cormier for the vacated title, and lost via submission. Fast forward to today, and Jones will battle Cormier for a second time at UFC 200, July 9th. But, “Bones” also recently said the following (quote via MMA Junkie.com):

“I would love to rematch Gustafsson at some point,” Jones said, while referring to his tightly contested, 2013 win over Gustafsson. “Anthony Johnson is obviously a fight that I need to get out of the way. Beating Daniel Cormier again is huge for my legacy. But really, just those three names, Cormier, Gustafsson and Johnson, are the guys I want to fight again the most, and that’s it. That’s as far as my eyes can see right now.”

Jones also relayed that he’s not as interested in fighting at heavyweight any longer. In the past, Jones has talked about fighting at heavyweight, but the fighter says he’s been making 205 easily.
