Miesha Tate has repeatedly said she wants to fight Ronda Rousey again, and avenge her defeats, but the bantamweight champ’s not sure her rival’s dedicated to fighting anymore.

As Tate prepares to face Amanda Nunes at UFC 200, July 9th, it remains unclear as to when Rousey will fight again. Following Rousey’s KO loss to Holly Holm last November, the star was expected to return this summer. But Rousey proceeded to request more time off, and recently Dana White said he isn’t sure if she’ll fight in 2016.

Recently Tate spoke with the UFC’s Megan Olivi, as part of the “Exchange”, and said the following about Rousey (quote via MMA Junkie.com):

“Do I think she’ll come back the same? Something tells me no,” said Tate. “I think that’s just my take on the interviews I’ve seen her do. I feel like she’s somewhere else other than fighting. I don’t feel like this is her No. 1 drive anymore.”

Rousey, however, has said in interviews that she plans to return to the cage. The fighter and actress submitted Tate with an armbar in both of their encounters to date.
