The betting lines have Conor McGregor as a slight favorite to defeat Nate Diaz at UFC 202, and it looks like Kenny Florian agrees with that assessment.

Although McGregor was submitted by Diaz in their first meeting back in March, the oddsmakers have the Irish star as a favorite in the -120 to -130 range. On the latest edition of “UFC Tonight”, Florian was asked to make his pick for Saturday’s headliner, and the retired fighter said this (quote via FOX Sports 1 press release):

“I’m going with Conor. His speed will be a difference, as his ability to slip outside, plus he’s had a full training camp. He’s got to be the faster guy and he’s got to do it for 25 minutes. And he’s got to be patient and smart.”

McGregor outstruck Diaz during the opening round of their first bout, and bloodied the rugged vet. But in round two, Diaz stunned a fatigued McGregor with some hard punches, and ended the fight with a rear-naked-choke.

UFC 202 will be hosted by the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
