UFC 204: Daniel Cormier Says Dan Henderson Victory Tonight Will Make Him The G.O.A.T
By FCF Staff
Dan Henderson is universally regarded as one of the best fighters to date, and according to Daniel Cormier, if the legend defeats Michael Bisping tonight, he’ll become the greatest ever.
The 46 year-old legend will be looking to score his second victory over Bisping today at UFC 204, as at UFC 100 in 2009, Henderson KO’d the middleweight champ. During Henderson’s storied career, he’s laid claim to PRIDE’s 185 and 205 titles, as well as Strikeforce’s light-heavyweight belt, but he’s yet to win a UFC world championship.
Well, during the latest “UFC Tonight“, Cormier had this to say about Henderson (quote via FOX Sports 1 press release):
“Storybook endings don’t get any better than this if Dan Henderson can pull this off Saturday. It’s going to be tough. He’s got to do something he hasn’t done for a long time, fight for a long time and set up that knock out. If Dan can get this done, he’ll go down as the greatest fighter of all time. ”
UFC 204 will take place in Manchester, England.
