Eddie Alvarez has been booked for his next bout, after losing the lightweight title to Conor McGregor, as the UFC’s announced he’ll face Dustin Poirier. The fight will be part of the May 13th, UFC 211 card, which will take place in Dallas, Texas.

Alvarez (28-5) battled McGregor at UFC 205 in November, and was stopped in the second round. The now, former champ, had won three straight leading up to the bout.

Poirier (21-5), earned a majority decision win over Jim Miller in his last outing, which took place at UFC 208 last month. The former featherweight was knocked out by Michael Johnson prior to that in September.

UFC 211 will feature heavyweight champ Stipe Miocic taking on Junior dos Santos in the main event.
