Following the booking of Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor for August 26th, the UFC has announced that the promotion will not hold a pay-per-view card that month.

It was expected that UFC 215 would take place on August 19th in Seattle, and that it would feature the city’s Demetrious Johnson in action. But, on Monday, the UFC announced that its September 9th card in Edmonton at Rogers Place will now be UFC 215.

July features two PPV events for the UFC; on July 8th, UFC 213 will take place in Las Vegas, Nevada, and on July 29th, UFC 214 will go down in Anaheim.
