Kevin Lee needed just over an extra hour to make the 155 pound limit for his interim title fight tomorrow with Tony Ferguson, but card’s headliner is official.

Lee initially came in at 156 pounds for the contest, and then it was announced he would be given an extra hour, to lose the extra weight. Regulations in Nevada reportedly allow a fighter to attempt losing two additional pounds, within an hour, if a doctor determines they are safe to do so.

On Lee’s second attempt, the surging fighter came in at 154.5 to make the fight official.

On Friday morning, the UFC announced that Nik Lentz has been forced out of a lightweight contest with Will Brooks, due to medical issues.
