Although Andrei Arlovski has gone 1-4 in his last five bouts and he’s now 39 year’s old, Stefan Struve isn’t underestimating the former champ, as they get set to fight tonight.

The two will battle on the main card of UFC 222, which will take place in Las Vegas, Nevada. In a recent story at UFC.com, the 30 year-old Struve said the following about Arlovski:

“I know I’m fighting a great fighter,” Struve said. “At one time he was winning enough and at the right times to win a world title and he still has the skillset that belongs to one of the best heavyweights in the world. He may have gotten a little older, but he’s still, in my opinion, one of the top heavyweights in the world, skillwise. It’s gonna be great to fight him and it’s gonna be nice to have a win over him on my record and it just makes it more exciting to fight a big name like that.”

Arlovski is coming off a decision win over Junior Albini, which snapped a five fight, losing streak. Struve, meanwhile, was stopped by Alexander Volkov in his last bout, after winning two in a row.
