UFC 225: Robert Whittaker Survives Late Scare to Win Controversial, Decision Over Yoel Romero

Here are the results from UFC 225, which saw Robert Whittaker earn a controversial, split decision win over Yoel Romero.

The middleweight champ bested Romero in the opening two rounds, but in the remaining frames, the contender hurt Whittaker on several occasions, and nearly finished him in round five.

After the thrilling fight, however, Whittaker was awarded the split decision win. The latter also reported that he broke his right hand, not long into the bout.

UFC 225 took place in Chicago, Illinois.
