Jon Jones has yet to be handed a legitimate loss, so, Alexander Gustasfsson believes if he does just that at UFC 232, he’ll be the best fighter on the planet.

The fighters are booked to battle on December 29th, in a fight that will determine a new, light-heavyweight champion. The stars fought back in 2013, and Jones won the thrilling bout via decision.

Recently Gustafsson was a guest on “The MMA Hour”, and while discussing the upcoming scrap, he said this (quotes via MMA Fighting):

“And when I beat this guy, it’s going to biggest thing ever, and it’s going to be a highlight in my career and it’s going to change my life, so that’s my motivation…”

“I have, and all I can say is words can’t describe that feeling,” Gustafsson said. “And I don’t even know how it will feel — I just know I will just be the king of the world. That’s it. I will be the king of the world. Nothing more, nothing less, and we’ll take it from there.”

Gustafsson will be competing for the first time since May, 2017, when he stopped Glover Teixeira.
