UFC 235 was widely considered to be one of the deepest cards in recent memory, and it looks like the March 2nd event did very well in pay-per-view-sales.

The recent event featured light-heavyweight champ Jon Jones defending his title versus Anthony Smith, and Kamaru Usman taking the welterweight championship from Tyron Woodley. In addition, UFC 235 featured the Octagon debut of Ben Askren, who recorded a controversial submission win over Ben Askren.

According to a report from MMA Fighting’s Dave Meltzer, early estimates have UFC 235 selling between 520,000 and 650,000 buys. In contrast, UFC 234 last month is believed to have sold less than 200,000 PPV buys.

UFC 235 was hosted by the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
