UFC 246: Conor McGregor Estimates He’ll Make $80 Million For Donald Cerrone Fight
By FCF Staff
Conor McGregor has had some massive paydays in the past, but the star is predicting that he’ll have one of his biggest to date at UFC 246.
The former lightweight and featherweight champ is booked to fight Donald Cerrone on Saturday night, in what will be his first bout since 2018, when he was submitted by Khabib Nurmagomedov.
During a recent interview McGregor did with ESPN, he was asked about how much money he expects to earn for the Cerrone fight. McGregor reportedly estimated that he’ll make around $80 million for the bout, in comparison to the approximate, $50 million the fighter said he made for the Nurmagomedov fight.
The 31 year-old didn’t say if those estimates include money tied to sponsorships. McGregor is believed to have earned around $100 million for his 2017 loss to boxing star, Floyd Mayweather Jr.
