Heading into UFC 286, the consensus seemed to be that Justin Gathje and Rafael Fiziev would collect “Fight of the Night” honors, and that turned out to be the case.

The lightweight contenders engaged in a thrilling, stand-up war, which saw Gaethje earn a majority decision win.

After the card, it was announced that the bout had earned “Fight of the Night”, with $50K going to each man.

“Performance of the Night” bonuses and an extra $50K, went to welterweight Gunnar Nelson and flyweight Jake Hadley, respectively.

Nelson submitted Bryan Barberena with a first-round armbar and Hadley quickly stopped Malcolm Gordon with strikes.

UFC 286 took place in London, England.
