Leon Edwards didn’t record a highlight reel finish like he did last time he faced Kamaru Usman, but the welterweight champ retained his title at UFC 286.

Usman pressured throughout the bout and managed to score a couple of takedowns. But, Edwards defended multiple takedown attempts and countered well, particularly with leg and body kicks. Despite being deducted a point in round three for a fence grab, Edwards was awarded the majority decision win to take the rubber match.
