Sean Strickland stunned the MMA world on Saturday by defeating Israel Adesanya at UFC 293.

From the opening bell, Strickland pressured Adesanya who largely looked to counterstrike. Strickland landed more often, however, and also dropped the renowned striker at one juncture.

After five rounds, Strickland was awarded the fight by all three judges to take the middleweight title.
