Alex Pereira added yet another, devastating knockout victory to his resume on Saturday night, by finishing Jiri Prochazka in the headliner of UFC 303.

The light heavyweight champ dropped Prochazka with a hard left hook a moment before the first round ended. Shortly into round two, Pereira sent Prochazka to the deck with a head kick and then prompted the stoppage with follow-up punches.

The fight marked the second time the light heavyweights had fought, as last November, Pereira recorded a second-round, TKO win over the former champ.

After the event had started, it was announced the co-headliner would no longer feature Brian Ortega, who reportedly had to withdraw due to illness. Featherweight contender Dan Ige, who was scheduled to fight on July 20th, agreed to step up and face Lopes in a catchweight bout at 165 pounds.

Lopes proceeded to record a unanimous decision win.
