The UFC has announced that it is holding an event in Oklahoma City on June 25th and that the card will feature BJ Penn versus Dennis Siver, and Tim Boetsch taking on Johny Hendricks. In addition, the card will see Felice Herrig battle Justine Kish.
Penn (16-11-2) and Siver (22-11) were scheduled to fight last summer, but the latter was forced to withdraw due to injury. Penn fought Yair Rodriguez in January, which marked the first time the legend had competed since 2014, and was stopped in round two.
Siver, on the other hand, hasn’t fought since 2015 when he lost via decision to Tatsuya Kawajiri.
Hendricks (18-6) is coming off a successful debut at 185, as he earned a UD win over Hector Lombard last month at UFC FN 105. Boetsch (20-11) also fought in February, and was submitted by “Jacare” Souza.
Herrig (12-6) took on Alexa Grasso in her last outing, at UFC FN 104 last month, and earned a decision win. Kish (6-0), meanwhile is coming off a UD win over Ashley Yoder in December.
