Donald Cerrone issued an open challenge to any welterweight who was willing to face him at the UFC’s next event in Denver, and “Cowboy” has been booked for a bout with Jorge Masvidal.

The upcoming card will take place on January 28th at Denver’s Pepsi Center. Cerrone issued the challenge following his KO win over Matt Brown last weekend, and Masvidal was quick to respond. The latter recorded a TKO win over Jake Ellenberger at the TUF 24 Finale on December 3rd.

The UFC has also announced that Francois Ngannou will take on former heavyweight champ Andrei Arlovski at the UFC on FOX 23 event. Ngannou submitted Anthony Hamilton in the opening round at UFC 206.

Arlovski, meanwhile, was submitted by Josh Barnett in his last bout, which took place in September.
