UFC Fight Night 73 has received an important, flyweight fight, as the promotion has announced that Dustin Ortiz will battle fellow contender, Ian McCall.

McCall (13-5-1) is looking to get back on track, as he’s coming off a decision loss to John Lineker in January. Prior to that,  “Uncle Creepy” scored consecutive wins over Brad Pickett and Iliarde Santos.

Ortiz (14-4) is also coming off a defeat, as he was decisioned by Joseph Benavidez in November. Ortiz had defeated Justin Scoggins and Ray Borg in his previous two bouts.

McCall is currently ranked #4 at 125, and Ortiz is positioned at #11.

UFC FN 73 will be hosted by the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville on August 8th.
