By FCF Staff
The UFC has added a pivotal light-heavyweight bout to its upcoming schedule, as the promotion’s announced that Anthony Smith will fight perennial contender Glover Teixeira.
The UFC has announced that Smith and Teixeira will fight in the main event of an April 25th card in Lincoln, Nebraska.
The 40-year-old Teixeira (30-7) is coming off a split decision win over Nikita Krylov in September and has won three straight bouts.
The 31-year-old Smith (33-14), meanwhile, returned to the win column last June by submitting Alexander Gustafsson. Prior to that he dropped a decision loss to champion Jon Jones in March, 2019.
