Shortly after the press conference for UFC 197 concluded, the promotion announced that Diego Sanchez will take on fellow lightweight vet, Jim Miller, at the event.

UFC 197 will take place on March 5th at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

Miller (25-7) is coming off a submission loss to Michael Chiesa in December, after he earned a split decision win over Danny Castillo last July.

Sanchez (25-8) dropped a unanimous decision loss to featherweight contender Ricardo Lamas in his last bout, after earning a split decision win over Ross Pearson in June, 2014.

UFC 197 will be headlined by a lightweight fight between 145 champ Conor McGregor and 155 champ Rafael dos Anjos.
