As expected would be the case, the UFC has confirmed that former welterweight champ, Kamaru Usman, will face current champ, Leon Edwards, next. In addition, the promotion has announced a bout between lightweight contenders, Justin Gaethje and Rafael Fiziev.

On Saturday, the UFC announced that the fights will be part of the promotion’s March 18th card in London, England. Edwards – Usman III will serve as the headliner for UFC 286.

Edwards (20-3) avenged his 2015, decision loss to Usman (20-2) this past August, by knocking him out in the fifth round.

Gaethje (23-4) is looking to get back on track, as he was submitted by Charles Oliveira in his last bout, which took place in May, 2022.

Fiziev (12-1) is coming off a fifth round, KO win over Rafael dos Anjos in August.
