After the UFC recently confirmed that Mark Hunt has been medically cleared to compete again, the promotion’s announced he will fight Curtis Blaydes at UFC 221.

The heavyweight bout will be part of the February 10th card, which will take place in Perth, Australia.

The 43 year-old Hunt (13-11-1) will be fighting for the first time since June, when he stopped Derrick Lewis. That victory, followed Hunt’s KO defeat to Alistair Overeem in March.

Blaydes (8-1) recently recorded a TKO win over Alexey Oleynik to move his UFC record to 3-1, with 1 no-contest.

The experienced wrestler is ranked #9 in the UFC’s heavyweight division, and the feared striker Hunt, is sitting in the #5 spot.

UFC 221 will be headlined by a middleweight bout between champion Robert Whittaker and Luke Rockhold.
