The UFC continues to build out the promotion’s early, 2023 schedule, as it’s announced a compelling, bantamweight fight between Marlon Vera and Cory Sandhagen.

Recently it was announced that the bantamweight contenders will face off on February 18th, at a card that will be hosted by the UFC Apex in Las Vegas.

Vera (20-7-1) has won four straight and is coming off a knockout win over former champ, Dominick Cruz, in August.

Sandhagen (15-4) recorded a TKO win (due to doctor stoppage) over Song Yadong in his last fight, which took place in September.  Sandhagen is 3-2 in his last 5 fights.

Currently, Vera is ranked #4 in the UFC’s bantamweight division and Sandhagen is ranked #5.
