UFC Announces Plans For “TUF Latin America”

As “TUF Nations: Canada vs. Austrlia” continues to air, and filming for the latest season of “TUF Brazil” unfolds, the UFC has announced plans for a season featuring Latin American fighters.

According to an announcement from the UFC, the seventh international season of TUF will feature a “cast of 16 undiscovered professional Mixed Martial Arts fighters from across Latin America.”

The series will be filmed this spring in Las Vegas, and the UFC is accepting applications for the competition now.

In order to be eligible “candidates must be between 21 and 34 years old, speak Spanish, have a minimum of three professional MMA fights, and hold a verifiable winning record. They must also be citizens of one of the following countries: Argentina, Belize, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela.”

Applicants from all weight classes, who meet the additional requirements outlined, can apply.

The coaches for the upcoming show have yet to be announced.
