The UFC continues to build out its January schedule, as the promotion’s announced a middleweight fight between Omari Akhmedov and Tom Breese.

Recently the UFC confirmed that Breese and Akhmedov are going to fight at a January 16th card, which has yet to have a venue and location announced.

Breese (12-2) is coming off a stoppage win over  K.B. Bhullar in October and the British fighter is 3-2 in his last 5 contests.

Russia’s Akhmedov (20-5-1), meanwhile, dropped a decision loss to former champ Chris Weidman in August. The fighter is 3-1-1 in his last 5 bouts.

The upcoming Fight Night card will be headlined by a featherweight fight between former champ Max Holloway and Calvin Kattar.
